BE A PART OF SOMETHING BIG
The goal of the NCBC Abstract Program is to facilitate discussion between representatives of participating centers and to advance knowledge in the field that will be useful to your colleagues. Submitted abstracts fall into one of three categories: Category I: Breast Center Operations, Administration and Programs, Category II: Patient Care and Support, and Category III: Breast Cancer Diagnosis and Management.
HOW TO PARTICIPATE:
Email your abstract and the Abstract Application* to the NCBC office at NCBCabstracts@breastcare.org by the due date, January 31, 2025; late submissions will not be accepted. Faxed abstracts will not be accepted. Submission(s) will be peer reviewed and the abstract author(s) notified of acceptance for poster display at the 2025 Conference by the end of day, February 11, 2025. The NCoBC will host a special Poster Reception at the end of the conference day on Friday March 21, 2025.
NCBC will invite the authors of one abstract submitted in each of the three major categories, as well as one submitted by trainee (fellows, residents, students and other trainees), one of which will be designated the Fellow/Resident/Student Award-winning abstract, to briefly present their abstracts during the Oral Abstract Presentations at the Poster Reception. Category oral abstract presenters will be awarded a monetary gift of $100. The Fellow/Resident/Student Award* recipient will receive a monetary gift of $200 and complimentary registration to the conference.
The top 10-15 abstracts have a chance to be published with the European Journal of Breast Health.
- The European Journal of Breast Health (Eur J Breast Health) is an international, scientific, open access periodical published by independent, unbiased, and double-blinded peer-review principled journal.
- The European Journal of Breast Health is published quarterly in January, April, July, and October. The publication language of the journal is English.
- EJBH aims to be a comprehensive, multidisciplinary source and contribute to the literature by publishing manuscripts with the highest scientific level in the fields of research, diagnosis, and treatment of all breast diseases; scientific, biologic, social and psychological considerations, news and technologies concerning the breast, breast care and breast diseases.
- The journal publishes original research articles, reviews, letters to the editor, brief correspondences, meeting reports, editorial summaries, observations, novel ideas, basic and translational research studies, clinical and epidemiological studies, treatment guidelines, expert opinions, commentaries, clinical trials and outcome studies on breast health, biology and all kinds of breast diseases, and very original case reports that are prepared and presented according to the ethical guidelines.
- This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.
