Your Invitation
You are invited to submit an abstract for the 19th Annual National Interdisciplinary Breast Center Conference to be held March 14-18, 2009 at The Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, Nevada. This is an opportunity to share research, programs and results with other breast health care professionals. The goal of this session is to facilitate communication among the various breast care centers and advance knowledge that will prove to be useful to our members. Last year there were more than 50 posters from across the United States, Canada, Europe and Asia.

There are two categories of abstracts with subcategories. Please choose the category and subcategory that best fits your abstract. Our conference represents a unique environment to interact with dedicated professionals in breast care, ranging from internationally recognized leaders in academia and leaders in their respective fields to those in the front lines including our nurses, radiology technologists and administrators. The NCBC’s annual conference represents the only format of its kind in multidisciplinary breast care.

The NCBC would like to thank KUBTEC for underwriting the poster display fees for all poster submissions at the 2009 conference.

To Participate
To participate, email your abstract to the NCBC office at EmilyM@breastcare.org by the due date, February 6, 2009. Faxed submissions will not be accepted. Submission(s) will be peer reviewed and the abstract author(s) notified of abstract acceptance for poster display at the 2009 conference. Many conference guests visit posters and look forward to discussions with the authors and representatives. All ideas are welcome for consideration. Our peer review panel will invite one author from each of the two major categories to present their abstract orally during the oral poster presentation on Sunday, March 15. Met with tremendous success in 2008, the NCBC conference will once again host a special Wine and Cheese Poster Reception on the evening of Sunday, March 15.
